The JMSEF Monthly Draw 2026 – what is it?

It raises money to fund research into Miniature Schnauzer eye conditions!

What’s the Draw done for Miniature Schnauzers so far?

JMSEF has already funded – or part-funded – research programmes into Congenital Hereditary Cataracts (CHC), Hereditary Cataracts (HC) and, through joint funding with our 3 supporting Clubs (MSC, NSC & SCGB), supported further research into causes of Progressive Retinal Atrophy (G-PRA).

Work is ongoing in all these conditions but current research, by the KCGC, is focused on HC, exploring its potential connections with other conditions in the Miniature Schnauzer.
